Carson's first day of school

I know..I know, she is only six weeks old and you think she is to young to attend school. But, Ry and I write the checks out to Cornerstone Preschool...so there you go. Money talks. Anyway, today was her first day at daycare/preschool.
Carson has one of Cormic's first teachers; who is absolutely wonderful. So, we are very fortunate to have such a great place to take the two young ones.
As you can see, she was bright eyed this morning and all dolled up.
And, I don't have to mention how difficult it was to leave her and go back to prison...ha ha. (work)

Carson adjusting

So far the little lady has been a very good baby. Most nights she sleeps all night long from (9:00 to about 5:00 am). She only makes a fuss for the typical things: hungry, tired or needs a diaper change (which Ezekiels face shows she may have needed one at that time..peeeeuuu). And, she loves to be held.

OH..one other thing. Cormic absolutely loves his little sister. He always wants to kiss her, hold her and now he thinks he can carry or move her around in her car seat. As you can see, she gets a little nervous around him. ha ha ha.

She is a doll!

And, this is a great shot of Cormic extending his hand to his little sister and she...yes..has a fist ready.

A Saturday morning

So, this was last Saturday...Since some of the bedding was throw on the floor for wash; the boys thought "Let's build a fort."
The two brothers just love spending time with each other. E is still the greatest and does everything and anything for his little brother.
I will admit that they convinced me to crawl in their fort and laughed their bottoms off when I couldn't get out. Ezekiel told me to back out since I was not able to make it  all the way thru...I'm surprised he didn't make the "beep beep" sound when I was backing up. ha ha ha.

Good Tuesday to you

Carson wanted to wish you the best on this Tuesday...She is pretty darn happy at this stage in her life and we pray she will always have that glimmer in her eyes (NO! it's not the flash..it's Glimmer! lol) She looks forward to meeting each of you one day; but until then remember this little lady loves ya...

Summers going Fast!

Well, what has been going on with the Evans family is...back to school for the older two. Ezekiel turned 14 years old. We had a small family celebration on the 19th; and then this coming weekend he will have a couple of friends over. Ry was gone this past weekend for two out of state shows with the Bitter Swills. Of course they played great and those who heard them really liked the music.
Cormic above gets familiar (but won't use) with the training potty and reading some a Tape Op mag.
Carson shown above.. all dolled up and ready to hit the town.
Dad and the youngest two..Talk about a man with his hands full!
This is one of Sierra's pieces..I think she did a pretty darn good job.
Ohhhh dear, is this what people mean when they say "The triple threat"?

Misc.

Below is pretty little Carson.  She will start daycare in two weeks...rats. At her four weeks of age, she has smiled and is starting to make baby coo sounds. She does get very wided eyed when Cormic is around. ha ha..He loves her so much, but still can be a little rough.
Poor dad... he looks wiped out and little Cormic looks..no he not just looks; he has tons of energy.

Sierra had a great time in New Mexico with Grandma and Grandpa Evans and their cousin Taryn. Not sure how a mother is suppose to feel when her teenager says "I'm not ready to come home." ha ha... She started her junior year today. She wore an outfit that she modified. I will have to post some  shots of her creations. The girl sews by hand, and does not want to use the machine....
Just like Sierra, Ezek had a good time in New Mexcio; but I feel he missed his little siblings and was ready to get back home.  He is an 8th grader this year at a middle school art school.

Heard of Chris Black??

We are very proud of this little rascal..Chris is a lot of things; but I'll just say he's talented for right now. ha ha. Ry told me that meeting people like Chris was one reason why he moved to the South. You just have to meet Chris to understand the sunshine he brings to your day. And if you don't then just enjoy his music. Also, many of the songs were recorded at Ry's. Including the one below..but I could be wrong..but I don't think that is possible. tee hee

Sweet 16!

Life is just moving way to fast...Yesterday, Sierra turned 16...Geez, geez, geez.
We asked Sierra what she wanted to do to celebrate. And she just asked for a couple of friends to come over...they went to the movies, ate some grub and stayed up all night long.
Sierra starts her JUNIOR year at Nashville School of Art August 12th!
