Christmas 2011

Well, don't mean to brag; but we had a smashing good ol Christmas this year. Didn't think we were much on tradition; but Ry has started one....He pulled out the "Happy Birthday Jesus" tee-shirt again. And, he will continue to wear it because Ezek says "I love that shirt" ever time he sees it..
The lovely ladies of Tennessee on Christmas morning.
Awww, the boys spreading the love in the hall way w/a little bite-fight-wrestling match...whatever that was. Fala la la la la la
Thank goodness Carson grabbed a snack and just decided to watch.Sweet little Carson below trying to crawl on the table.
Yahoooo! Its our Christmas tree and the gifts for the kids! We thank those who donated to the cause!

Its time to open gifts!

Cormic was a pro...kept all the toys next to him and tossed clothing items to the side.. He did have a lot of fun and he kept saying, "This so mutch fun."
I told Ry to look happy and this is what I got..I feel and see the joy in his face..same look he had when we got married..He told me he'd never been happier w/that same face...LOLEzek liked his little gift..same look his dad has..ha ha
Now, sierra is expressing herself w/the same joyous expression..ha ha ha. Just kidd'n. Gifts were fun and everyone had a good time.
Carson was a little pack rat...she went to her siblings pile and took what she could carry.

Open! Open! Open!

I love watching the kids open presents! This year Ry didn't even complain about my cheesy Christmas music playing in the back ground..hehe

Not sure why Carson carried around Cormics shoe; but she did....and she put on his other pair he received. Weird

Wow-need a break

So, it seemed like the kids needed a break. They woke up had Christmas breakfast and then opened gifts....it was sooo much
Cormic may have been a little shocked and a little tired from all the excitement.
Ezek-handsome young man...he is ready for more action.
Don't let this little beauty fool ya...she is ready for action too! Of course, she does have to refuel first w/some apple juice.Sierra, I didn't ask what she was thinking while she played w/Comics fire truck on the couch....but it being so close to her High School graduation....I can only imagine....because I know what I am thinking every day when I see her...Ya, pretty much Holy Poo, where did the time go?

The last of the Christmas shots

Well, I tried all day to get the four kids together for a picture and it didn't work out so well. I think I should have said, "You can open your gifts after Momma gets one good picture of you four together"
The sweetest teens in Tennessee shown above...
Okay, Ezekiel is laying on the "sweet" a little too thick there...
As I said before....try getting these four to stop! Sierra doesn't give any problems, can't get Ezek to smile and I'm not to sure what to list or to say about the smallest two...they just won't stop moving...hahaha
Ohhhh dear..."Thanks Kids, Merry Christmas to Mom. This is the one. 2011 Christmas. Looks like Madness to me." ha ha ha

Well, we need to thank you for the gifts. The kids had a wonderful Christmas and Ry and I couldn't feel more blessed...it was a beautiful day! We hope yours was just the same. Merry late Christmas!!!

Carson helps w/some sound

Carson has been such a delight...she is a very independent little thing. She loves climbing, throwing food on the floor, pulling hair, tearing up paper, recently learned to bite and also has become a little daddy's girl.
One night not to long ago, Ry was at the computer listening to some recordings and of course...Carson was there to assist.
And, now...she is an expert
Of course, she displays her excitement by dancing...
And, she will try to tell Dad "Ohhhhh, that is good!"
And, finally...once in awhile she has to take the head phones off to converse w/her ol man over this or that..but she mostly says "TURN THOSE DRUMS UP DAD!"

Again with the pudding

Oh dear, I feel like I've seen this before. What a messy baby!
So close to the eye and just having a good time.

Pumpkin Patch

On October 25th, we drove to a near by pumpkin patch. Cormic was so excited to go. After we pulled into the parking lot and he noticed where we were he screamed, "Halloweeen! Halloween!" Cormic and Carson took home two small pumpkins. Cormic loved his so much; that he snuggled up to it last night and fell asleep with it next to his side.
The patch was great because it was full of pumpkins and decorated from one end to the other!

I asked the teens if they wanted to put their pumpkins in a wagon; and they decided to hold them.. ha ha..Guess, they thought "kid? or pumpkin?" PUMPKIN!
So, here the four are:
It is impossible to get the four of them together for a picture. Carson has been a challenge for so long. Because she won't hold still and she runs from me when I get the camera.

My Dear Ol Dad

So, I grew up on Ten Acres of Love as Ry would say. My Dad had many stories regarding horses and cars. Below is one of his treasures he and my mom drove to New Mexico this summer.

Yep, it was great to see them in New Mexico! They met Cormic and Carson for the first time. I am posting today because I'm thinking of that long road trip they took to see us. Those of us in newer cars may think "What a rough, long journey"...But, to him...it was a sweet ride to see the ones he loves. So, today I am thinking of that road trip because I learned today he is about ready to face a real tough road. But, with all that love him..positive thoughts and prayers will cause this cancer to be just a bump in the road. I love you DAD!

Hold on to her tight dad

So, we went to the Haskins to celebrate a birthday. But, ol dad gets a little protective around the Haskins boy. Carson was there to say, "Relax dad....here, let me rub your back. Now, let me down!"
Little man Haskins and little man Evans shown below in the pool, during Wyatt's birthday party.
Momma Haskins laugh'n at the gift we gave little Wyatt. The shirt has a picture of Carson on it and the words "My gal is red hot". Yep, it was Ry's idea. The shirt wasn't big enough to hold the rest of the line..

Sisters Years apart

The only thing that separates these two girls are the years. Since the older two have watched over the two little ones this summer, Sierra and Carson have become very close. It does kinda bother me how Sierra just watched Carson crawl into the toy box shown below...has this happened the entire summer?
So, we had one turn 1 year in July. Then, we had Sierra turn 17 on August 8th. She started her senior year four days later and she is sooo excited about being on top of the food chain. The water works already started for me and will probably continue till graduation. This happened way to fast! She is working on more time behind the wheel, still has a passion for art, kind, is a great role model for her little siblings and plans on attending a local college next year. And, this girl makes me laugh. Ry and I always tell the kids that they are the greatest people we know...and they really are.
Big things also happened for our littlest one too this summer. She had her first birthday. She made her first road trip to New Mexico. And, she met numerous family members for the first time.
Carson has five teeth now and SHE TOOK OFF walking! She milked the "walking thing" for two weeks..Then, one night we just had to call her out on it. We knew she could walk...but she just wanted to be packed. Well, sure enough...the same night of the talk. BOOM. Girl got to stepp'n.
This little lady is pretty tough. I haven't seen a child take soo many spills; and a lot are because Cormic gives her a love nudge to the ground. She also likes to climb. You name it...and she's tried it. I walked in the bathroom because I heard her crying. She was stuck. One leg on the ground and one leg over the lid of the john.
wow.
