Last leg of 2013 summer vacation

Here are some pictures of our last leg of our trip this summer. After we left Fruitland, Idaho we headed to Boise to visit the Wildmans.
Overall the kids did an amazing job strapped down in their seats during this (over 75 some hours) of driving..Yep, from the looks of it Carson did try to unbuckle herself at times.
Kids watched movies, played games and Carson even tried to exercise during the drive.
Grandpa Wildman above relaxing (is that possible) at Aunt Barbs...Great visit, great food and we just can't believe how fast the time flew.
There is not enough room on the page to describe the visit w/this family and lady above. Simply a time to remember. We are blessed to have the Wildmans as family. The kids loved being w/their Great Grandparents.
And wonder why? There is always a sweet treat when you visit...And for some reason there is always pudding when you visit the Evans side of the family..ha ha..Could it be the mess they leave?
Oh dear...All I can say is Ry and I never did take a parenting class. So, is an elbow to the rib bad when a child isn't listening? LOL. Just kidding, they were playing in the yard (just incase DCS is reading)..

  Ug, the Good Byes.
Ry w/his grandparents before we hit the road.
Before we left Idaho, we went to my sisters Leslie's house. To me this was a perfect way to say good bye to Idaho. She is simply a symbol of strength, truth and is living to love all she encounters. We really did have a peaceful/loving and joyful journey this summer and believe it's because of the positive influences in our lives and she is one example in mine. Love her so much.
A couple of pictures from the road...

Wish I could flip this baby; but here is the family in a Dinasaur museum somewhere in Utah.

Cormic had a great time! He was fun to watch during this little visit

We took our time driving home. Rented a couple of rooms along the way  and that was fun. The big kids were able to walk away to a local mall or take a swim..and as you seen above it was nice to sleep in a bed instead of a car seat.
Lots of this---staring out at the road ahead
 and even more of this--COFFEE!
Well, Ry and I did it!   We drove the family across the states and made it back w/all four children.. What a journey!! Some have said we were crazy; but it really was a great experience and hope we can do it again before the older ones move out.. Hope you had a great Summer too!

Happy 19th Birthday to Ra Ra

So, who is Ra Ra ? Carson started to pronounce "Sierra" as "Ra Ra"; so now everone in house hold calls Sierra "Ra Ra". LOL
Yep, it's true. On 8-8-13 our little big girl will be 19 years old. Her big plans are to work on her birthday (welcome to adult hood honey), go out on a date Friday and hopefully we will celebrate this weekend. She and I pictured above during our 2013 vacation...we were outside of a dinosaur museum in Utah.

Pre vacation

So, we had planned on this years trip to Idaho for a very long time..Here are a couple of shots of three of the kids getting all dolled up before we headed out West. Pictures taken about June 18, 2013.  Carson had already taken scissors to her hair before we went. They tried to straighten it out....then of course she got ahold of the scissors again. She had a great look for the trip. Really rocked it.
Really? Are you kidding me Cormic? This kid is such a flirt with whoever is around. And, I think he is able to wear any hair cut...Killer cute!
Ezek of course is very handsome too; but he went in and came out with the same hair..not sure what I paid for; but I have a photo to prove something happened.
Okay, all those kids who don't have a job are ready to go! Hopefully photos from the trip will be on the next post..Hope it's not in 2014. LOL

The "Why Photos"

--Why would Cormic yell in the house?
--Why is this man so great?
--Why would Carson wear her glasses up side down..every time she puts them on?
--Why is the baby below the weirdest thing in the picture?

--Why would I even ask "why?"...oh dear

 --Why doesn't she stop moving?

--Why would anyone have a princess wear a shirt that reads "trouble"?

--Why wouldn't she wear a hat w/this look?
 --Why blue hair?
--Why are kids riding bikes in the living room?
--Why is it sooo fun to eat pudding?

 --Why would he wear pants?
--And finally, Why wouldn't I post this picture? You can't borrow a camera and forget to erase images...They may just get put online or made into a t-shirt..Hmm.. Well, this one was first. LOL

WHY  ????  Guess cuz they all can.
