Cormic turned two!
Well, I had some time; so this will be a real long post talking about our little Cormic. On January 15, 2011 he turned two years old. It wasn't a huge celebration; but he enjoyed it and he really liked his little Elmo cake for one.
He was sooooo excited.
I wanna say that he looks pretty tough with a pink binky in his mouth at two.
He is one handsome young fellow, isn't he? Here Cormic is sporting his new Christmas outfit.
Wow, not to bad of a mess here. Improving?
Cormic has always found a way..Let's say, he's been sneaking or he has learned at a very young age to work around what Mom and Dad say. For example, here he was told "Hands off" and what does he do? He goes in with the feet.
At other times, he has always been a big helper. After Christmas, he helped put the decorations away.
At other times, he will get lost in Barney..I'm probably going to regret putting that in writing.
I don't remember what the two brothers are watching here...let's hope it was not Barney. If Ry was typing this...it'd be a Rolling Stones video. (lol) But, since I'm typing it..I remember it was a White Stripes video..Ya, that's it.
Lipstick..again, I'm going to regret putting that in writing too. (ha ha ha)
more of looking back on Cormic's two years
He has always loved playing in the mud...and just being a mess really.
Ummmm...Sierra and Cormic's relationship has somewhat always been strange..He for a little guy likes to give her a hard time. Her being the oldest isn't really cool w/that..ha ha
And, I don't care to get into his eating habits. One word...Mess.
First Christmas.

and back to the first days of the Monkey Paw
He really wasn't a big fan of his bath time in the beginning; but thankfully he loves it now. He can spend a lot of time playing in the water these days.
Ahhh, remember these little shots of Cormic in an outfit his dad wore when he was a youngin.
Ry, the excellent dad. So, hands on.
Cormic was loved by all from the start. The two brothers have a very special bond.
And, to the start of Cormic's life. You have all heard that a picture says a thousand words. Well, I would agree with the image below when it comes to a father's love for his babies. Ry has looked at each one of them this way from each of their beginnings with him. Thank you Cormic for a great two years!

Carson at six months old
On January 14, 2011 our little Carson turned six months old. She has just been a jewel since her birth. Ry and I know she won't be young for long, she keeps her eye on Cormic and the oldest two. And, let me tell ya..She wants in on whatever they are doing. Carson pictured below self medicating...yep Ry would say that is my side of the family. And, then I would say something like "she has no shirt on..so that's your side of the family?.. streaker." LOL

Carson and Cormic below. Notice her little face...she is sitting real still and thinking "Maybe if I don't move...he won't see me"
"Let's gooooo momma!"
And, the two little pictures below of our littlest sweetie. Ry says she already flirts with her eyes..what do you think?
Maybe he means more of the look below...Ya, it's a definite "Uh...you can't say no to me dadda" look.

Wear it all on a shirt!
So, not sure how your Christmas started..But, let me tell you a quick story about ours. First of all, my sweet husband wanted to change it to "Tribute to Otis Redding Day"..which I supported. It just didn't work out. But, I would have made the next holiday "YES..of course, Tribute to Jack Day.."Anyhooo, we woke up pretty early. Ry showered and got dressed. We shouldn't have been surprised when the man walked out wearing:
We definitely do celebrate the birth of our Lord and explain to the kids the reasons loved ones exchanged gifts...but, even though they know all that..it took a minute for Ezek to get comfortable with Dad sporting it on his chest.
So...if that was not enough damage to the kids..We had to do some DLR's before we celebrated.....
Below are the Laundry Ninjas....We were torn on the name.. It was a toss up between "Laundry Ninjas" and my idea of "The fold like Richard Simmons couple"... Ry just couldn't handle me talking like Richard while we folded.. ha ha ha ha
Alright alright..let's be serious for a minute. Ry and I received one of four greatest gifts this 2010. Our second daughter, Carson. Carson and Sierra below
WHO COULD ASK FOR MORE ?? Thank you for our four!
THE EVANS' CHILDREN OF NASHVILLE 2010
Christmas continued....
Ezek was funny...after he opened his gift from Kain, Claire and the girls he said "Aaaaawwwhhhhhh fresh and new sketch book"
A first for Carson
Time is really flying by way to fast. Carson is almost six months old, she last weighed in at 14 lbs 9 oz.
Didn't take long
Well, the children really had a great Christmas....Maybe because we are financially challenged is the reason they put their new gifts away...to have some good ol hillbilly holiday entertainment. Playing "Where's the ball?" I know what Ry would say...that may have been a different game when I was growing up...ha ha ha. Good ol Uncle Dave.
Happy New Year!! ha ha ha... Starting out just great. Late, weird and disorganized as those before.
