Wear it all on a shirt!

So, not sure how your Christmas started..But, let me tell you a quick story about ours. First of all, my sweet husband wanted to change it to "Tribute to Otis Redding Day"..which I supported. It just didn't work out. But, I would have made the next holiday "YES..of course, Tribute to Jack Day.."Anyhooo, we woke up pretty early. Ry showered and got dressed. We shouldn't have been surprised when the man walked out wearing:
We definitely do celebrate the birth of our Lord and explain to the kids the reasons loved ones exchanged gifts...but, even though they know all that..it took a minute for Ezek to get comfortable with Dad sporting it on his chest.
So...if that was not enough damage to the kids..We had to do some DLR's before we celebrated.....
Below are the Laundry Ninjas....We were torn on the name.. It was a toss up between "Laundry Ninjas" and my idea of "The fold like Richard Simmons couple"... Ry just couldn't handle me talking like Richard while we folded.. ha ha ha ha
Alright alright..let's be serious for a minute. Ry and I received one of four greatest gifts this 2010. Our second daughter, Carson. Carson and Sierra below
WHO COULD ASK FOR MORE ?? Thank you for our four!
THE EVANS' CHILDREN OF NASHVILLE 2010

Christmas continued....

Ezek was funny...after he opened his gift from Kain, Claire and the girls he said "Aaaaawwwhhhhhh fresh and new sketch book"
Ezekiel auditioned for Nashville school of Art January 3 rd...So, we hope he will be accepted. Since he is interested in Mass Media; we had him open the gift from Grandma & Grandpa Wolf. I know..it's a darn camcorder. I would have already posted some video for you all but our computer system is too old to upload the video from it... Can you believe that? Sierra and Ezek were both excited for that gift...
And, Cormic really loved his outfit from the Washington Evans crew..He said "I love that they aren't overalls? Well, I'll beee"
And, from the image below...I would guess Sierra is going to hold on to her sketch book. Loved it!
ohhhhhhhhh...what a day. Time for a little snooze. Big Brother and little Sis. It's what this holiday is all about. F A M I L Y

A first for Carson

Time is really flying by way to fast. Carson is almost six months old, she last weighed in at 14 lbs 9 oz.
Above was the sweetest little gift that could have been bought for the little Southern Belle, received from Grandma Bev. Love it! I told Carson, "Smile big for the camera"...and had asked her several times to drop her arm down out of the frame..But, NOOOOooo she had to sport her new jewels. This was her Vogue shot..she tried to suck in the cheeks for that starving model image; but just couldn't.
I love her holiday dress...a gift from Great Grandma Wanda before she was even born.
She had a wonderful day..enjoyed the wrapping paper very much.
She just wants to say Thank you to all family and Friends for al the special gifts!

Didn't take long

Well, the children really had a great Christmas....Maybe because we are financially challenged is the reason they put their new gifts away...to have some good ol hillbilly holiday entertainment. Playing "Where's the ball?" I know what Ry would say...that may have been a different game when I was growing up...ha ha ha. Good ol Uncle Dave.
Okay..above shows the two boys setting up the rules..Cormic acting confused early on.
Cormic thinks he has the game in his pocket...(again another meaning if I was talking about when I grew up...ha ha ha.)
DOUGH! Not in there.
Cormic showing Ezek how tough he is...going to bit his own palm off if he doesn't get this next one.Well, he didn't get the next one...and he kept biting and biting all the way up to his elbows. All fun and games until some little guy gnaws his own arms off.
Happy New Year!! ha ha ha... Starting out just great. Late, weird and disorganized as those before.
